How to Use GitHub

Music players lock lyrics away.

How to use VLyrics.

Download the app, launch it while your music is playing, then keep the floating lyrics bar above your workflow while you code, design, or browse.

Always on top.

VLyrics breaks out of the app. It sits elegantly over your entire screen, whether you're coding in Xcode, designing, or browsing.

Zero limits.

Streaming platforms restrict API calls and hide lyrics behind clunky interfaces. VLyrics pulls lyrics independently so you never miss a beat.

100% Free.

You pay for the music subscription. You shouldn't have to pay a premium just to read the lyrics. Built for the community, free forever.

Troubleshooting.

If VLyrics is not behaving the way you expect, try these quick fixes before reinstalling or giving up.

Lyrics are not showing

Make sure your music is already playing, then give VLyrics a moment to detect the current track. Reopening the app can also refresh detection.

Wrong song or stale lyrics

Pause and resume playback, or skip to the next track and back again. This usually forces a clean refresh of the current song data.

Floating bar is missing

Check whether the app opened behind another window or on a different desktop space. Reopen VLyrics and bring it to the front.

App feels stuck

Quit VLyrics completely and launch it again. If the issue continues, download the latest build from GitHub to make sure you are on the newest version.
